I hiked Ensign Peak with the other Ensign College Ambassadors today and *didn’t die*. I’ve never hiked it before and it was a lot of 🥾👆🏼(hiking uphill).

I might have been slow, but I made it! #miracleshappen 🙏

Myth #1 - It's a real medical disorder. Not treating ADHD is like not treating other medical diagnosis. It's one of the easiest disorders to treat and the medications are considered the safest of most prescribed drugs.

Myth #2 - Again, this is NOT true. This is a harmful belief for those who deal with the challenges of ADHD on a regular basis.

Myth #3 - Parents, hear me out - parenting an ADHD child (especially when you possibly struggle with ADHD) is a difficult task. It wears the most patient parents out by lunchtime. If you have an ADHD child, you are a rockstar!

I love hearing the creative choices parents give their kids. It can take some creativity and thought, but the results are so worth it.

This generation of kids don't like being told what to do. They want to see options and then choose based on those options.

We fought for our independence before we came to the earth and crave it now more than ever. If you're struggling getting your kids to make good choices, try stepping back and giving them options to choose from instead.

For the older kids, I use "would you rather" questions to present their options.

Find ways to offer options to your kids and watch what happens!
